- Size
- Standard UK cards are 85 × 55mm; square cards are 55 × 55mm and mini cards 85 × 25mm. Order the size selected above.
- Stock & finish
- Higher GSM generally means heavier stock. Matt lamination gives a smooth, muted finish; gloss adds shine; velvet has a soft-touch feel. Only the finishes offered for this card are available.
- Printed sides
- Choose single-sided or double-sided where offered. Supply a separate page for each printed side.
- Artwork
- For standard flat cards, extend backgrounds 3mm beyond each edge and keep important details inside the safe area. Foil and Spot UV need a separate finishing mask.

Matt has a low-sheen finish, gloss adds shine and velvet offers a soft-touch feel. Only the finishes available for this particular card are shown in the selector. Special finishes need their own artwork setup; see the guidance above.
Can I write or stamp on my cards?+
Choose a suitable uncoated surface if you need appointment notes, loyalty stamps or handwritten messages. Lamination and coated stocks can affect how ink takes to the surface. Ask us which available stock and finish will suit your intended use before ordering.
When does my turnaround start?+
Your turnaround starts when payment, all required print-ready files and any requested proof approval are complete before the applicable cut-off. Placing an order without supplying suitable artwork does not start production.
For example, a three-working-day turnaround begins once your files are ready, not when you first place the order. Late files or artwork corrections move the estimated delivery date. Weekends and bank holidays can affect timing.
Set up your artwork
Add 3mm bleed on every edge. Keep text, logos and QR codes at least 3mm inside the finished edge, or further in if your template specifies.
In Illustrator or InDesign, use the finished size plus a separate 3mm bleed setting. In Photoshop, use the full size including bleed. Canva users: use the finished size and export with bleed.
File setup & export checklist
- Supply a print-ready PDF. Use CMYK where available and high-resolution images, ideally 300ppi at final size for close-up print.
- Extend backgrounds into the bleed. Keep essential content inside the safe area.
- For single-sided print, supply one page. For double-sided print, supply two pages at the same size.
- Check every word, number and QR code. We check technical suitability; we do not proofread.
If you select foil or Spot UV, supply a separate finishing mask aligned exactly to the print artwork. Ask us for the setup requirements before exporting.
