Your selected options above define the product we make. Photos show example artwork and configurations.
- Open vs folded size
- The open size is the full sheet before folding. The finished size is the closed leaflet your customer holds. Check both before designing.
- Fold choice
- Half folds create four panels. Roll folds tuck panels inside; Z folds open in a zigzag. Panels are not always equal widths.
- Artwork layout
- Use the template for your selected fold, with outside and inside artwork supplied as flat pages. A folded paper mock-up helps confirm the reading order.
- Paper & finish
- Paper weight and coating change how a leaflet feels and folds. Use only the stock and finishing combinations available in the selector.

Start with the template for your selected flat size and fold. Some folds need unequal panel widths, so do not divide the sheet into equal panels unless the template says to.
Should I upload separate panels?+
Normally supply two complete flat pages: the outside and the inside. Position each panel in its correct place on those pages, using the product template. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure.
When does my turnaround start?+
Your turnaround starts when payment, all required print-ready files and any requested proof approval are complete before the applicable cut-off. Placing an order without supplying suitable artwork does not start production.
For example, a three-working-day turnaround begins once your files are ready, not when you first place the order. Late files or artwork corrections move the estimated delivery date. Weekends and bank holidays can affect timing.
Set up your artwork
Use the exact fold template. Set up the full open sheet, with outside and inside as separate pages. Check the closed size, panel order, fold lines and template bleed before exporting.
File setup & export checklist
- Supply a print-ready PDF. Use CMYK where available and high-resolution images, ideally 300ppi at final size for close-up print.
- Extend backgrounds into the bleed. Keep essential content inside the safe area.
- Follow the product-specific page order and template. Ask us for the correct template if you do not have it.
- Check every word, number and QR code. We check technical suitability; we do not proofread.
