GOOD TO KNOW
Your questions, answered.

Explore our artwork guide ↗Can I use these letterheads in my laser printer?+
Yes, choose 500 or more. These runs are litho printed and suitable for adding your own text with either a laser or inkjet printer.
Orders below 500 are digitally printed and suitable for inkjet printers only. If you use a laser printer, select 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000 from the quantity options. Always check your printer supports your chosen paper weight.
Will the colours match what I see on screen?+
Screens display colour with light, so bright on-screen colours can look different in print. Paper and finishing also affect the result. Prepare your artwork in CMYK where possible and tell us before ordering if a particular brand colour is critical.
When does my turnaround start?+
Your turnaround starts when payment, all required print-ready files and any requested proof approval are complete before the applicable cut-off. Placing an order without supplying suitable artwork does not start production.
For example, a three-working-day turnaround begins once your files are ready, not when you first place the order. Late files or artwork corrections move the estimated delivery date. Weekends and bank holidays can affect timing.
Set up your artwork
Add 3mm bleed on every edge. Keep text, logos and QR codes at least 3mm inside the finished edge, or further in if your template specifies.
In Illustrator or InDesign, use the finished size plus a separate 3mm bleed setting. In Photoshop, use the full size including bleed. Canva users: use the finished size and export with bleed.
File setup & export checklist
- Supply a print-ready PDF. Use CMYK where available and high-resolution images, ideally 300ppi at final size for close-up print.
- Extend backgrounds into the bleed. Keep essential content inside the safe area.
- For single-sided print, supply one page. For double-sided print, supply two pages at the same size.
- Check every word, number and QR code. We check technical suitability; we do not proofread.
If you select foil or Spot UV, supply a separate finishing mask aligned exactly to the print artwork. Ask us for the setup requirements before exporting.
