- Choose a card stock and finish to suit your packaging and brand.
- Hole position
- Leave a clear area around the selected hole position so your logo and important details stay intact.
- Attachments
- String, ribbon and other attachments are included only if the selected specification expressly includes them.
- Artwork
- Use the tag template with the correct hole and cutting guides. Supply separate pages for front and back if printing both sides.

Choose a suitable uncoated surface if you need handwriting, a message or a stamp on the reverse. Coatings and lamination can affect how ink takes to the surface, so ask us which available stock will suit your intended use.
What should I leave clear around the edges?+
Keep text and logos within the safe area shown on the template. Extend backgrounds into the bleed. For swing tags, also leave clear space around the drill-hole position.
When does my turnaround start?+
Your turnaround starts when payment, all required print-ready files and any requested proof approval are complete before the applicable cut-off. Placing an order without supplying suitable artwork does not start production.
For example, a three-working-day turnaround begins once your files are ready, not when you first place the order. Late files or artwork corrections move the estimated delivery date. Weekends and bank holidays can affect timing.
Set up your artwork
Use the selected tag template for finished size, bleed and hole position. Keep writing, logos and QR codes clear of the trim and punched hole. Supply a separate artwork page for each printed side.
File setup & export checklist
- Supply a print-ready PDF. Use CMYK where available and high-resolution images, ideally 300ppi at final size for close-up print.
- Extend backgrounds into the bleed. Keep essential content inside the safe area.
- Follow the product-specific page order and template. Ask us for the correct template if you do not have it.
- Check every word, number and QR code. We check technical suitability; we do not proofread.
