THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
Know what you’re ordering.
Your selected options above define the product we make. Photos show example artwork and configurations.
- Your format & uses
- Choose the finished size in the selector to suit your message, from compact promotional handouts to more detailed menus and service lists. The artwork setup panel shows your selected dimensions and size including bleed.
- Paper feel
- A lighter paper suits high-volume handouts. Heavier stock gives menus and promotional cards a more substantial feel. GSM (grams per square metre) describes paper weight, not a guaranteed thickness.
- Surface
- Silk has a smooth, low-sheen surface; gloss is more reflective; uncoated paper has a natural feel and is useful for writing. Choose from the stocks available above.
- Print file
- For standard flat flyers, allow 3mm bleed on every edge. For two-sided printing, supply two pages at the same finished size.

Explore our artwork guide ↗Which paper weight should I choose?+
Lighter paper is practical for larger handouts and leaflet drops. Heavier paper feels more substantial for menus, invitations and promotional cards. GSM means grams per square metre: it describes paper weight, not an exact thickness.
Will the colours match what I see on screen?+
Screens display colour with light, so bright on-screen colours can look different in print. Paper and finishing also affect the result. Prepare your artwork in CMYK where possible and tell us before ordering if a particular brand colour is critical.
When does my turnaround start?+
Your turnaround starts when payment, all required print-ready files and any requested proof approval are complete before the applicable cut-off. Placing an order without supplying suitable artwork does not start production.
For example, a three-working-day turnaround begins once your files are ready, not when you first place the order. Late files or artwork corrections move the estimated delivery date. Weekends and bank holidays can affect timing.
Set up your artwork
Add 3mm bleed on every edge. Keep text, logos and QR codes at least 3mm inside the finished edge, or further in if your template specifies.
In Illustrator or InDesign, use the finished size plus a separate 3mm bleed setting. In Photoshop, use the full size including bleed. Canva users: use the finished size and export with bleed.
File setup & export checklist
- Supply a print-ready PDF. Use CMYK where available and high-resolution images, ideally 300ppi at final size for close-up print.
- Extend backgrounds into the bleed. Keep essential content inside the safe area.
- For single-sided print, supply one page. For double-sided print, supply two pages at the same size.
- Check every word, number and QR code. We check technical suitability; we do not proofread.
If you select foil or Spot UV, supply a separate finishing mask aligned exactly to the print artwork. Ask us for the setup requirements before exporting.
