- Folded sheets are secured with staples through the spine. A practical choice for programmes and compact brochures.
- Page count
- Page counts include the four cover pages and work in multiples of four. Include intentional blank pages in your file.

- Check whether you have selected a separate heavier cover or the same stock throughout.
- Print files
- Supply single pages in reading order, rather than printer spreads. Check the finished size and keep text clear of the trim and fold.

Supply a PDF with individual pages in reading order, not printer spreads. Include every page, including any intended blanks. Cover and spine requirements depend on the selected binding, so follow the product template.
Does the page count include the cover?+
Check the cover and page-count options before ordering. Every printed side counts as a page, including blank sides. If a separate cover is specified, follow that setup rather than guessing the total.
Which binding suits my project?+
Stapled booklets suit shorter publications, perfect binding creates a square spine for thicker books, and wiro binding allows pages to turn freely. The available page counts and stocks are shown in the selector.
When does my turnaround start?+
Your turnaround starts when payment, all required print-ready files and any requested proof approval are complete before the applicable cut-off. Placing an order without supplying suitable artwork does not start production.
For example, a three-working-day turnaround begins once your files are ready, not when you first place the order. Late files or artwork corrections move the estimated delivery date. Weekends and bank holidays can affect timing.
Set up your artwork
Use the finished page size, with bleed and safe margins from the template. Export single pages in reading order, including intentional blanks. Your total page count must be a multiple of four; do not supply printer spreads.
File setup & export checklist
- Supply a print-ready PDF. Use CMYK where available and high-resolution images, ideally 300ppi at final size for close-up print.
- Extend backgrounds into the bleed. Keep essential content inside the safe area.
- Follow the product-specific page order and template. Ask us for the correct template if you do not have it.
- Check every word, number and QR code. We check technical suitability; we do not proofread.
